Service terms

Last updated October 30, 2026

Draft, not yet reviewed. Highlighted brackets are details we still need to fill in. This page is not legal advice and is not yet in force.

These terms apply when an HVAC company ("you") uses the VoiceBridg answering service. They cover both the 90-day founding pilot and the standard per-booking service.

The service

VoiceBridg answers your incoming calls, 24 hours a day, with an AI assistant and a trained human desk. It takes caller details, books jobs into your schedule, passes emergencies to your on-call technician, texts the caller a confirmation, records and transcribes calls, and sends you a daily report. [Confirm the list of included features.]

Who can use it

The service is for businesses that provide HVAC services in the United States. You confirm you have authority to agree to these terms for your company. [Confirm eligibility, and any other trades.]

Founding pilot

The founding pilot runs for 90 days and is open to 10 contractors. There is no contract. [State pilot pricing or fee waiver, what happens at day 90, how to end early, and how places are allocated.]

Fees and billing

You pay $25 for each booked job. There is no setup fee. A booked job is a call that ends with an appointment on your schedule. [Confirm the definition of a booked job, including emergency dispatches, reschedules and cancelled jobs.] [State billing cycle, invoicing, payment method, late payment, taxes and refunds for jobs cancelled by the caller.]

What you need to do

You agree to:

  • Forward your calls to us and keep that setup working.
  • Give us accurate information: your service area, your on-call technicians and their order, what you treat as an emergency, and your scheduling details.
  • Tell us promptly when any of that changes.
  • Follow the laws that apply to your business, including laws on call recording and on telling callers about it.

AI, emergencies and safety

The AI assistant and our desk help you answer calls. We are not an emergency service and are not a replacement for calling 911. Calls about gas or carbon monoxide follow a safety script and are not treated as routine bookings. We do not guarantee that every call is answered correctly, that every job is booked, or that a technician will respond. You are responsible for your own dispatch and for the work you do.

Recordings and data

Calls are recorded and transcribed so we can provide the service and you can review it. You own the information about your customers. We handle it as described in our Privacy policy, and we process it on your behalf. [Add data-processing terms if needed.]

Acceptable use

You may not use the service to break the law, to deceive callers, to harass anyone, or to attack or misuse our systems.

Our rights

We own the VoiceBridg service, software and brand. You get the right to use the service for your business while these terms apply. If you give us feedback, we may use it to improve the service.

No warranty

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we do not make promises about results, such as the number of jobs booked or revenue captured. [Counsel to review disclaimer wording.]

Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, VoiceBridg is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profit or lost jobs, and our total liability for any claim is limited to [amount or formula, for example fees paid in the previous 12 months]. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Ending the service

You may stop using the service by [how to cancel and notice period]. We may suspend or end the service if you break these terms or if we must by law, and we will tell you why. You pay for booked jobs up to the end date. [State what happens to your data and recordings after the end date.]

Changes

We may update these terms. We will give you [notice period] notice of changes that matter, and you can end the service if you do not accept them.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [state or country], and disputes go to [courts or arbitration].
